There are a large variety to explore on this beautiful island and one place to go to is 'Jarada Island' which is about forty minutes away by a speed boat and is all connected to the tide.When the tide comes out, a long strip of white sand appears and is surrounded by blue calm water.This is a great spot to relax on a weekend with family and friends for a quiet and peaceful outing.

Housed in a building surrounded by engraved Arabic script with 50,000 books in beautiful Arabic calligraphy. The books are also translated into English and French written about their religion,Islam.Manuscripts dating to the 7th Century as well as 'Quran's' written on rice, peas and grains! It is claimed to be a whole world devoted to the 'Quran'(the Holy Book of Islam)
